We make tiaras and other wedding Jewellery.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I have always been interested in Fashion and Design and gained a lot of wirework experience working with silk flowers making bridal bouquets and hair accessories. This lead to experimenting with beads, crystals and pearls and coming up with designs for Hair Pins and Tiaras.
When I got married someone kindly made the jewellery for myself and my bridesmaids. It was a lovely to know that everything was going to match and that I wouldn't have the worry and stress of searching all over the shops to find what we needed to co-ordinate with out gowns and the wedding colour scheme. It made me realise that this was a good service to offer to Brides.
I have launched this website to reach a wider audience for my creations.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
My 1st website was a simple brochure site launched in 2007. I have taken the next step and no have a fully functional e-commerce site
How did you decide on a name for your website?
the name YourTiaras emphasises the personal nature of the product
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
We think it is different in that many site charge high prices for very simple designs. So we are offering a range of Tiara styles at very competitive prices
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
So far we are making profit ! Long may it continue. But my husband it and IT professional who runs the site and does all the web marketing for free !
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
We have just built the site and are happy with it. No change
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
No. I would need to take on extra staff to help with the ordering and the creation of some of the Jewellery
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
So far we have started small and not had too many problems

Creating a good design for the site
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Goggle shopping site has given the site good promotion
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Even with the brochure site with no web marketing , it does surprise you that people do find your and call you up !
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
We have been running the site for over a year
