What inspired you to launch your own website?
I have been interested in this work for long. But never saw a website with Middle East focus. Also the site intendes to be sharp and focussed on getting you work.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
It was way back in 2000, when I launched www.insuranceblues.com to help people suffering from insurance problems.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
It was simple.....it is an exchange for models, hence www.modelsxchange.com
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Its focussed on Middle East, User friendly, and will be constantly upgraded to become best such resouce in Middle East.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To become best such portal in world.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Its just a start...............
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would set up a creative working team, give them a goal, make a blue print and make it with cutting edge tech........Even with limited budget we are going to do the same eventually.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Nope.....its evolving...........We want to make it useful, not really big.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Google Ad expenditure........The hits were just tremendous.........
What has been your biggest challenge?
Nothing so far........we want to go slow and steady.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Word of mouth. Personal Messages, Google Advertising
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Not really.......But after launching, changinga even a thing is very difficult.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
around 20 days......many years......
How do you earn money......
None so far......but eventually through paid subscriptions....
