A mobile hair and beauty salon. Get a whole new look without having to leave home. Professional hairstylist and beautician with over 20 years of experience.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

To provide an online alternative for existing and new customers to find information about our services.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Late April 2008.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Have been using the name for some time. Customers have known us by this identity.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

Website designed by my own son, for free. Web design that keep things simple and easy to understand.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Maintain an online presence for existing customers and to attract new customers to try out our business.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Doing very well. Passionate about our work.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Build a solid SEO presence. Will still keep it simple.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Not a problem. We welcome and appreciate hard work and success.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None so far. Everything is going well.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Indecisive customers and unpredictable situations but it's all part of the experience.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Search engines.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Not much. Conforming to the k.i.s.s philosophy.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

For as long as it can be.
