StylePointer.com is a celebrity fashion shopping site. Users can steal or splurge on the latest celebrity looks.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Most people are not professional stylists. Therefore it is always great to get inspirations and second-opinion when it comes to fashion shopping. This is why people like to shop with friends, read fashion magazines and look at what celebrities and other people wear on the street. With this in mind, we provide an online fashion shopping site StylePointer(http://www.stylepointer.com) which provides these women with inspirations and wardrobe suggestions so that they can easily find fashion items by browsing through latest celebrity looks.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
2006. It was a consumer to consumer bartering website.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
1) Based on the objective and content of the site. 2) Simple and easy to remember."
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We have developed a unique technology platform that allows us to search, compare and publish products from our partner network easily and effectively. As such, we can easily match wide range of apparel items that are similar to each celebrity look.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I am an entrepreneur. I enjoy the process of buiding a new company. Therefore I plan to sell it at the end.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
sure. By building a bigger team.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
SEO is a much more time-consuming and tedious task than I had anticipated.

Again, SEO is very tedious.
