The website specializes in natural and mineral makeup,become a member and receive great discounts on all products ,if a customer has any questions regarding the products they have the option of talking to one of our trained make-up artists by email or telephone.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
We have a very successful boutique shop which gives great advice on how to apply make-up on all our clients,we decided to give that product knowledge to the internet audiance, providing only natural and mineral cosmetics.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
The first website was two year ago which has become the miamakeup site.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Mia Makeup come from the abbreviation of M I A M make-up I image A application
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
All the staff who work for Miamakeup ,are trained and still working in the makeup industry.all the advice that the general public require regarding makeup can be answered at the end of a phone or email.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Are eventual goal is to supply all brands of makeup i.e. Bare Minerals and MD Formulations to the global market and give good makeup advice to guarantee customer satisfacton.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
If we spend time answering questions from customers and informing are members upto date information regarding products ,will help towards the success of the website.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
We would develop a customer service manager to every customer we have.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
We have a team of girls who could cope with a larger amount of traffic.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
The only headaches we have incounted is the long hours of work ,that we have to put in to maintain the high standard ,to keep the website moving on, but it a nice headache.
What has been your biggest challenge?
The biggest challenge was having the convidence to start the website, but we never regret it for one minute.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Most successful method of promoting the website has been advertising on search engines,like google.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
We never thought that we would get so much satisfaction from customers leaving postive feeback.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
Been running it from the start and will continue as long as i can.
