Home of our medical aesthetic clinic. Describes the services that we offer. We offer safe, scientifically proven and medically supervised non-surgical treatments that reverse or significantly reduce the effects of aging, acne, sun damage and surface vascular problems. We offer the absolute leading edge of technology in laser and light treatments. We also offer Botox, fillers, peels and microdermabrasion.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
To provide a central information source for our treatments and to increase our exposure and what makes us different from "spas"

How did you decide on a name for your website?
I am a PhD scientist/engineer as well as an MD. I have degrees in Chemistry and Education as well. The basic equation of Energy in Light is E=h*(NU) Nu - the greek letter is the symbol in physics for frequency, h is Plank's constant. My initials happen to be EH and I already have a medical clinic call EH2 (as in squared). So, EH NEW !
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
The big difference is that all treatments are prescribed by myself and delivered by me or my medically qualified staff. We are not like the many "spas" that have a doctors name attached but you never see the doctor! My experience and training with medical procedures adds an enormous amount of safety and the ability to deal with any complications or problems that might arise.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
We intend this site to be educational as well as an advertisement. We will be adding more educational pieces as we go along to help the consumer make a more educated decision about procedures and treatments.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Success for me is the satisfaction that I get from delivering quality treatments that leave people not only looking better but feeling better about themselves.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Lots more video educational pieces.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Our expansion is limited to the time we have available to deliver our services. In time that will expand but not faster than we are able to adequately deliver care without compromising on safety or quality
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
The costs of getting only the best equipment and product lines was extremely high. Traditional advertising is very expensive and doesnt allow you to educate people. It also just doesnt work in this field
What has been your biggest challenge?
This field is vast and complex with many conflicting claims of success and supremacy. It took me a year and a half to do the research and education before I could launch this clinic. In the end, my scientific training helped me to make objective decisions based on evidence and not just sales promo blather!

How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I really had no expectations, I just knew what I wanted.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
We first lit it up in January 2008, it will stay up as long as the clinic exists which is likely to be many years.
How is your clinic different from the many spas and salons that offer hari removal and IPL?
Spas and Salons will often offer Laser hair removal or IPL facials. These services are usually delivered by a non-medical technician who has been taught which button to push and where to apply the light. The non-medical facilities usually have ineffective "spa versions" of the equipment that are under-powered but look superficially like the real thing. Our equipment can only be purchased by a physician with proper training. Our product lines are only available through a physician's office.
