Bear fur jackets, deer skin boots, two or three layers of t-shirts, knitted bonnets, gloves, long, hand-woven scarf and thick long pants. These are the basic Christmas outfit we used to see in television programs during Christmas, especially if it's an animated series for kids.
But what really is the style you need to wear during the Christmas holidays? What must you really wear to get the spirit of the season. Well, the answer depends on who will wear, and where is the person located.
Imagine an old man from the Sahara Desert wearing all the apparels mentioned above. That's just plain stupid.
For years, we have lived in the adage, "Wear what comforts you." And up to now, it is still the best advice you can get on what you're going to wear, Christmas or not.
What you see on television might not fit you very well, What you see others are wearing might not be the best choice for you. Some people knows how to bring themselves depending on what they are wearing. Some just can't do that.
If you're not a born fashionista, it's better if you'll just stick with what comforts you most. But if you would to experience some change, be brave enough to try wearing things you haven't put on before.
This Christmas, I think I'll walk the street in a Rudolph nose and hat.
