Started in October 2006 to log fashion trends and shows as a reference for work

The Beautifully Damned aims to provide the latest information and trends from the fashion world as and when they happen

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

Making sure that all content is relevant and current

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

designing the site

What was your biggest mistake?

being too specific as to what areas of fashion to cover

Who maintains your website and why?

I do, so that i know about all of the contetn on it

Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?

We are starting to generate enough traffic to justify placing adverts on it as a second source of income

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

it's only going to get bigger and better. The web has opened the door of opportunity to thousands of people as it offers CHEAP and AFFORDABLE business venture options. As network communities continue to grow, these generate more traffic, and publicity to sites connected in these communities, and before you know it, a site has gone global!

What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

VERY important. Properly optimisez sites generally generate more traffic, which is the key to any site

They are helping more now than when the blog was first started

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Originally, via word-of-mouth, and MySpace, but now Search Engines generate the majority of new visite

What method has been least successful for promoting your website?

technorati. I think i registered the blog too early

What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?

Richer internet applications to take the burden off of the user a little bit more
