Please give us a short summary of your website?
Affordable custom made hair accessories for girls. Everything is handmade with care, detail, and of course a little love! I'm always updating my site with new and exciting styles and colors!
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Having piles of hair bows build up in my house! I needed to do something with them all.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
This is my first website and I just started doing bussines in May of June of this year (2007).
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I have two little girls who are Cute & Sweet and they're the reason I do what I do. There was no better name for my product.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
I think I'm unique because I'm affordable. No, seriously. One of the reasons I started making my own hairbows was because all the cute ones were so expensive at other places.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My goal for now is to continue making hair accessories and hopefully I will eventually be able to add other things for kids to my site. Bags, clothes, etc.
What has been your biggest challenge?
My biggest cahllenge is keeping a clean house, maintaining a 4 year old and 1 year old, advertising my business, and of course finding time to get my creative juices flowing.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
So far, word of mouth has been huge for me.
