The way you dress has a lot to do with the type of person you are. Or at least that's what people think. I on the other hand disagree, to an extent. My problem is that I hate it when people judge others by the way they dress.
Not only are you getting judged by the way you dress, but people judge you by all sorts of things. The music you listen to for example, if you listen to hip hop, some people will label you as a bad person for that. They might think that your up to no good. Or if you wear your jeans lower than your waste line you must listen to rap and like violence and that sort of stuff.
My problem right now is with the way some people treat my boyfriend. We have been dating for about 6 years now. When I first met him he was in to the brand South Pole. He didn't have any other reason for wearing it other than he liked the style of clothes.
South Pole is like urban clothing. Some people would judge him and say he was a bad person for that. They thought he was always out getting in to trouble. They were wrong. Throughout the 6 years that I've known him he has changed styles probably 5 times.
Now he is into skulls, guitars, and all the other stuff that deals with that. He is still the same exact person he was 6 years ago. The only thing different is that he wears different types of clothing. But now some people label him as a punk.
He does his hair in a type of messed up fashion. He wears a few bracelets. Has his ears pierced. But that doesn't make him a punk. Other people think they are better than him because of his clothes. The thing is, is that he is a really good person. He had a great job, loves his family, obeys the law, and is a great person over all.
What I am trying to say is look at a person from what they are on the inside. The way a person dresses is all about the fashion they are in to.
