Secret Skin Store is proud to be a registered Guinot beauty product stockist. We supply Guinot beauty products complete with comprehensive support, offering advice in all areas of beauty and skincare. Guinot treatments and products are only available from highly qualified beauty therapists who have been thoroughly trained in their practice and application. Secret Skin Store is no different.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Wanted to be able to provide great value skincare products, without having to charge the earth via a beauty salon.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
This is our first website, and we've been going 6 months.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Wanted to spread the word about great skincare, so everyone was in on the 'secret'!
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Great products, great skincare advice, and exceptional packaging.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To keep providing great service to all our customers who know where to turn for the best in guinot beauty products, skincare and skincare advice.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
It's a passion for us, so the time simply flies by!
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Extend our range and have more one to one support for the advice side of things.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Absolutely! We live and breathe skincare.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Very few, most of the cost ios in our time.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Having the patience to develop the site well.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Word of mouth from satisfied customers
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Its been more fun than we expected.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
6 months, and we'll keep it as long as we enjoy working with it!
What is your most common skin care question on the site?
People want to know about Guinot, we help them to understand that it is the number one skincare brand in Europe and that we are happy to advise our customers via our email in secret skin advice, to tailor specific products to each individual's skin care needs. We really do want to share the skin care secret!
