We are the furriers for all your fur needs: • selling used fur • fur buyers • fur storage • fur cleaning and fur care • fur remodeling and fur repair • fur rental • We are also the country's largest fur matching house with an enormous inventory of skins. We supply matching materials for a good portion of the nation's furriers. This enables us to give our retail customers a wholesale price when it comes to all of your fur repairs and fur remodels. We are one of the only furriers in the tri-state area to RENT fur garments.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Furs have never been more in fashion than right now. Every top fashion magazine (Vogue, Elle, In Style, Harper's Bazaar & W) is showing FUR, FUR, AND MORE FUR. More designers than ever are using fur in their collections. However, this huge surge in the popularity of fur garments, fur headwear, and fur trimmings has caused the price of mink and other skins to skyrocket to their highest price levels ever!

Do you sell used & vintage furs?
Selling used furs is our area of expertise but we also sell and custom design new fur garments. We are selling a full line of new fur accessories including fur hats, fur headbands, fur ear muffs, fur scarves, fur boas, and fur ponchos.
How are your furs different from those purchased at a flea market or on ebay?
We promise to stand behind any fur garment we sell or fur that Henry Cowit / Madison Ave. Furs remodels.

Before contacting us to buy your fur, here are some details we will need to know before telling you whether we will be interested in buying your fur: *type of fur *style of fur garment *fur color and size *fur’s age
What is your fur consignment policy?
Our fur consignment policy is that for your fur you will receive the price that we agreed on (no 60-40 or 50-50 split). You will be paid upon sale of your fur garment via check. We can take furs on consignment for any periods of time. The longer period you give us, the more chance we will have to sell your fur. We also might try and sell your fur garment to one of our wholesale accounts so we do request the right to show your furs out of town. This is all spelled out in a fur consignment contract that we will give you once it is read and signed by both of us.

Do you appraise furs?
Our experienced staff will appraise your furs for insurance and replacement purposes. We also do appraisals for insurance companys from 1 to 500 garments backed by our 3 generations of expertise.
We also sell and custom design new furs. Our large stock of new furs includes samples of this year’s newest lines.
After selling you a beautiful new fur or remodeling your fur coat, we are also there to care for your fur garment and keep your fur in the best shape so it will give you many years of fur enjoyment.
We are members of FICA (Fur Information Council of America) and the Greater Fur New York Association.
