Models. Supermodels. We all believed that they won't appear on the fashion runway unprepared or nervous, that they will do the cat walk with ease, that they've mastered the art of fashion walking and the art of bringing any dress they are assigned to. But that belief of mine was shattered when I stumbled on TIME Magazine's Top 10 Models Falling Down.
There are many reasons why a 'super' model will fall to her knees, or to her back or forehead or whatever that falls to the ground first (LOL). One, probably is a structural problem of the stage which happened a lot of times already. I saw tons of videos via YouTube with runway malfunctions.
Secondly, even a professional model can sometimes be the victim of the fashion product she's projecting. I saw a video on a model who fell down and hit her head to the runway floor after she accidentally stepped on the long fabric of her gown. Uncomfortable shoes can also lead to a disastrous show for a model. Uber high-heeled sandals for instance.
Another possible reason is distraction. When Carmen Electra fell to her back on a Max Factor fashion show, taht also caused another model to bump at her and fell as well, reports said while she was walking away from the floor, she wanted to look back. When she tried to shift her focus on looking back while walking forward on high heel and slippery floor, the disaster happened.
Anyhow, whatever their reasons are, they're still funny. I know it's kind of mean, who can resist laughing. Even this news anchor cannot. LOL.
